The age-old oaks form a grove that is situated just beyond the farmhouse, on the banks of the Paardenberg River and the leaves of the huge oaks form a natural green roof, dense enough for the legal signing of the register! We provide antique church benches, deli chairs and covered straw bales as seats, as well as a carpet that leads to the oak stump pulpit, which rounds off the picture.
This 'green chapel' was voted one of the Top Five Most Outrageous Chapels in South Africa by Wedding Collection Magazine in 2008.
