It has two bathrooms, an outside shower, a loo with a view and a spacious stoep that will add to creating a memorable weekend on the farm. Linen and towels are provided.

Granaat Cottage

This former labourers cottage was named Granaat only to discover later that there are a old few pomegranate trees growing not far from it.  It served as inspiration to plant a whole lane of both the old and the new variety of trees.

Situated on a hill overlooking some of the surrounding farms and a poplar grove, Granaat Cottage boasts with a large stoep in the front and a substantial dam at the back.  It has two bedrooms with a double bed, one with an en suite bathroom and the other one opening on to the stoep.  From the living area and kitchen, which include a fireplace, a proper cast iron Dover wood oven and a cosy corner to soak in the winter sun, stairs go up to the loft with 4 single beds and roof windows to watch the stars.  There is a second bathroom and seperate toilet inside as well as a warm shower outside.  Granaat Cottage is about 2km from Beloftebos Wedding Venue.

"Tranquility, views and a gorgeous sunset. Perched on the top of a hill, Light Cottage is the answer to a city slickers prayer. The dogs had a ball and there are some wonderful photo opportunities. Thank you so much to the de Villiers family for the cottage and the welcome treats." - Karen Meyer, CT, Feb 2010
